FAQs

How Does Riverstone Dental Make Dental Care Affordable?

Riverstone Dental accepts a variety of payment options including cash, checks, and major credit cards. We also offer flexible financing such as interest-free plans for 6 to 12 months and extended payment plans through CareCredit, with deferred interest if paid in full within the agreed period. Our team takes great care in providing upfront cost estimates and managing insurance claims, ensuring you’re well informed before any treatment begins. While insurance coverage does not dictate our treatment plans, we focus on what is ultimately best for your dental health.

No Insurance? no problem!

Our yearly Riverstone Dental Wellness  Plan is a great way for our patients who do not have dental insurance to save money and receive the best dental care.

The Riverstone Dental Wellness Plan provides preventive dental services (cleanings, exams, x-rays, fluoride treatments) for a discounted rate. And, includes 15-20% OFF Additional treatment. There are NO CO-PAYS.

Our RDWP is NOT dental insurance and cannot be combined with any other offer or savings plan.

What Comfort Measures Does Riverstone Dental Offer?

Ensuring a pleasant experience, Riverstone Dental offers comfort aids like neck pillows, and a blanket for personal use during appointments. For patients who might feel anxious, we have the option of oral sedation to help ease nerves and make your visit more relaxing and stress-free.

Why is Fluoride Important for My Dental Health?

Fluoride plays a key role in strengthening tooth enamel and preventing the onset or progression of tooth decay. At Riverstone Dental, we apply a long-lasting fluoride varnish designed to adhere to the teeth, harden immediately upon contact, and therefore, reduce the risk of ingestion. This treatment is especially beneficial for those at higher risk of tooth decay, and we may also recommend fluoride toothpaste for daily use.

When Should My Child Have Their First Dental Visit?

We advise scheduling your child’s first dental visit around their third birthday. Early visits are critical for acclimatizing children to the dental environment, teaching them proper oral hygiene habits, and preventing common dental issues. During their visit, our team will gently clean your child’s teeth and assess their oral health, providing personalized care advice. To prepare your child, discuss what they should expect during their visit and consider reading children’s books about dental care.

What Are Dental Sealants and Does My Child Need Them?

Dental sealants are protective coatings applied mostly to the molars’ chewing surfaces, where food and bacteria tend to get trapped in grooves, making them difficult to clean and more susceptible to decay. Sealants fill these grooves, creating a smooth surface that helps prevent cavities. They are a beneficial preventive measure to protect your child’s dental health.

How do you help patients understand treatment costs?

Before treatment begins, we’ll review your recommended care, provide cost estimates, discuss insurance benefits when applicable, and explain available financing or membership plan options so there are no surprises.

What happens if I need to reschedule an appointment?

We understand that life happens. If you need to change an appointment, simply contact us as early as possible so we can find another convenient time and offer the opening to another patient.

What if I have special healthcare needs?

We’re committed to providing individualized care for every patient. Please let us know about any medical, developmental, or sensory needs before your visit so we can tailor your experience and help you feel comfortable.
